Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West, has kept true to his promise of running for President in 2020.

Back in 2015 at the MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye originally stated “I have decided in 2020 to run for president”.

Starting from a tweet he put out on July 4th reconfirming he is running for president, Kanye immediately became trending across the country.

Although Kanye has missed the filing deadlines in a few states and has no campaign organization, he’s still serious about running and going strong. In an interview with Forbes, Kanye revealed that he will not be running as a democrat or a republican but rather as a “Birthday Party”. Saying “Because when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday”.

Another detail West had disclosed is that his Vice President will be Michelle Tidball, a little-known preacher from Cody, Wyoming (Which is the same place Kanye has spent a considerable amount of time on his Ranch).

Although Kanye had previously had a relationship with the current President, he has stated many times that he has cut ties with Trump and restated it in his latest interview.

He went on to say he’s “taking off the red hat” and doesn’t believe that the President can run the country.

As of right now, Kanye has not registered with the FEC (Federal Election Commission) along with many other steps to be a ballot in any state.

This truly will be a “Late Registration”.
